About the Event
As part of World Oceans Week 2020, The Explorers Club has put together a variety of special programs centered around ocean topics.
If you’d like to escape for an hour and immerse yourself in the beauty of the ocean, sign up for the Experience the Art of the Ocean presentation, which will take place tomorrow.
You’ll see a video from our founder of The White Feather Foundation, Julian Lennon, then learn about the TBA-21 Academy, a group that joins artists and scientists together for shared expeditions. Following that, hear from activist and street artist, Bordalo II, and to close out the session, ceramic sculptor Courtney Mattison, who combines science and art for ocean conservation. In addition to the presentation, a Virtual Gallery of ocean art created by Explorers Club members will be available to view on Explorers.org throughout the week.
How to Participate
The event is free to attend, but you’ll need to register to gain access.
We also recommend logging in a few minutes prior to the 6:00 p.m. EST start time to test your connection and set your screen to the preferred viewing size.
Then, sit back, relax and … enjoy!
