We are pleased to welcome applications for our 2025 grant to fund Health & Education projects. For additional details, please read the criteria below.
Which countries can apply?
The grant is open to all countries worldwide.
Can individuals apply?
No—your group must be a registered charity, NGO, educational institution or business entity to be eligible. We cannot award individuals with funding. Any applications submitted for individuals will be discarded.
Are research projects eligible?
No—we only fund projects that have a definite outcome/result and research projects unfortunately cannot guarantee that.
Can these funds be used for scholarships?
No—our Cynthia Lennon Scholarship for Girls is the only program that awards student scholarships or funds for tuition/room and board, etc. Watch for those applications to open again in 2026.
What types of projects could this grant fund?
To get a sense of the types of programs eligible, explore some of our past recipients in the Health category, like Village Ambulances (Uganda), World Central Kitchen (Gaza) and Nevada Building Hope Foundation (Peru) or in the Education category such as: Mothers of Africa (Zambia) and Amazon Conservation Team (Colombia).
Does my group need to have a website to apply?
Yes. To adequately provide transparency to our donors, it is imperative that we have a place to send them online to see the history of your group as well as any related projects that demonstrate how their potential donation will be utilised.
Social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, etc. do not qualify as a website.
What language should applications be sent in?
To ensure nothing gets lost in translation, we require all applications to be submitted in English.
What amount can we apply for?
Our grants are available in $5,000 – $15,000 range. We do not accept requests greater than $15,000 at this time.
Can you supply us with a proposal template?
No.
Due to the unique nature of the projects in consideration, we allow the applicant the freedom to use whatever format they think is best to convey their request.
Can we email you to hear the status of our application?
Please do not.
Because we receive thousands of applications each year, we do not have the resources to reply and give feedback individually to each applicant. If you are selected as a finalist and/or a grant recipient, a member of our team will be in touch.

The deadline for applications is October 30th at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
