As we welcome a new year, we reflect on all that our White Feather Foundation community achieved for those in need across the world.
Disaster Relief
In January, after devastating fires destroyed areas of Southern California, we responded with emergency funding for two nonprofits dedicated to helping survivors recover and rebuild.

Clean Water
We funded two Clean Water projects this year.
The first was in collaboration with our new partners at So They Can. We provided a new rainwater system for schoolchildren in Kenya.
The second project was in response to a plea from our longtime partners at charity: water, who conducted an emergency campaign to aid rural communities last summer. A report on the community will follow at the conclusion of the project in mid 2026.
The Environment
This year, our grant for The Environment was used to remove plastic from the ocean in Bali, Indonesia—a project in partnership with 4Ocean Foundation.
Preliminary metrics are being calculated now, and a report will follow in 2026. We will publish that once we receive it.
The Protection and Preservation of Indigenous Cultures
We were thrilled to receive a positive update from The Mirning People with regard to the Australian Court Case that has been in motion for three years.
We sent a donation to the tribe, from funds donated by our Dreamcatchers monthly members and one-time donations to their specific fund, but we still have a long way to go until reaching goal. Please consider a gift to our ongoing Save the Mirning Sea Country campaign to help them continue to defend their land.
The Cynthia Lennon Scholarship for Girls
We awarded 12 students across Botswana and Ghana with Cynthia Lennon Scholarships, as the program entered its 10th year.
The girls are part of Stepping Stones International and Lead for Ghana, two top-rated organisations working to ensure better futures for young students in Africa.
Education and Health
In the Education field, we provided school uniforms to 100 girls who attend Studio Samuel in Ethiopia.
In the Health category, we returned to our partners at World Central Kitchen to fund critical meals in the wake of several natural disasters and conflict-led displacements across the globe.
New Collabs
In addition to funding projects, we joined forces with ShopRaise and Survey Monkey to offer ways individuals could contribute to our charity without sending a monetary donation.

To start strong, we ask for donations to be made to our Clean Water fund, which is our current area of greatest need and the first grant we’ll award in the new year.
