We work with selected charity partners to provide educational funds for girls. The scholarships cover costs like school fees, tutoring, uniforms, textbooks/materials, activities, transportation and boarding costs where necessary, for the full term of the education program. This provides an empowering foundation to prepare the girls for life as an adult.
Cynthia Lennon, devoted mother to Julian, was an artist, author and restaurateur known for her kindness and warmth. Her admirable work ethic, strength and optimism were ever-present as was her compassion for others. The Cynthia Lennon Scholarship for Girls was established in honor of her spirit to provide new generations of young women with the education, tools and confidence to live their best lives.

The initial 2 rounds of funding were in partnership with Connect To Learn, a global education initiative of The Earth Institute at Columbia University, Ericsson and Millennium Promise. With a focus on Africa, scholarships were provided for 20 girls and covered a full four years of educational support for each recipient.
For the 3rd round of funding we supported the Cura Orphanage in Kenya, a project of Creative Visions Foundation. We funded 15 Scholarships for secondary school girls. The scholarships covered school fees, tutoring, uniforms, textbooks/materials, activities, transportation and boarding costs where necessary.
