Two years ago, we launched a Clean Water campaign to help an impoverished community prevent further illness and death, by bringing clean water to the Barabanki and Shravasti Districts of Northern India.
Our supporters rose to the challenge and a few months later, we sent funds to our partners at charity:water to make it happen. What follows is a message from our partner at charity:water who provided the recent project completion report.

“We are profoundly grateful for the generosity and trust of The White Feather Foundation and your donor community as we put your support to work. Because of your direct contributions, 34 piped system tap stands have been constructed, bringing clean, safe water to approximately 1,290 people across Shravasti and Barabanki Districts in Uttar Pradesh. The impact you have made on these communities is truly transformative.
Your generosity also helped support a larger initiative led by our local partner, Aga Khan Foundation, which implemented a total of 3,593 water points—providing clean water to more than 27,855 people. Your role in this effort has been invaluable, and we cannot thank you enough for being part of this life-changing work.
While your 34 tap stands are now complete, our team is still finalizing monitoring and evaluation data across the entire program (3,953 water points). Once this process is finished, we will share GPS coordinates and photos of each of the funded water points, including yours.”

We sincerely thank the members of our monthly donor program, all who made a one-time donation to this campaign, as well as those who shared the campaign on their social media pages to spread the word.
We look forward to sharing additional photos from this project, as they become available.
