We’re Planting 25,000 Trees with the Global Exploration Summit

To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the first circumnavigation of the Earth and the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing, explorers from around the World are converging at the Global Exploration Summit (GLEX) in Lisbon. The White Feather Foundation participated in the summit on July 4, represented by our founder Julian Lennon.

Hosted by The Explorers Club, the summit aims to discover the next frontier of human exploration. At the end of the program, The Explorers Club’s leaders and international officials will sign the Lisbon Declaration, committing all participants to a worldwide effort to inspire the public to protect our planet, reconnect with nature, and preserving its most pristine habitats.

To honour this commitment, GLEX Summit and The White Feather Foundation together will plant 25,000 trees in Tanzania with our partners ForestNation. ForestNation plant trees with partners around the world, and they also make hit promotional products and innovative employee gifts.

Here’s to the exploration of our future. #conservelife #exploreforthefuture
